Don't think it would be to hard to get rid of the recoil pad & replace it with a period correct butt plate

That would depend on whether or not the stock was cut off to add the rubber butt plate or not. Its also missing the rubber eye piece for the scope. If the stock isn't buggered up maybe $2,500-$2,750, if the stock is not messed with that price less the cost of an original stock.

I am inclined to agree with Chuck on the price; assuming the barrel and the scope are both good. The issue 03-A3 buttplate has an extended tang on the top. To attach a recoil pad the stock would have to have been shortened or patched. If thats the case then the stock would have to be replaced with an M1903A1 stock ("C" or scant grip) so adjusting the value of a new stock would be fair. Say $300 to $800. depending on condition and markings.
