There was no CMPicon south store in the 70's or 80's but nice display especially the rolling rack.

After losing 13 guns in a break-in back in 2004 I am too scared to have my carbines displayed, just too many meth head low life bastards here in rural MO. My carbines are for my eyes only.

Fantastic looking collection! Any chance you got pictures of the tiger striped carbine in the picture by itself, and some details on it or the stock. Looks like a Victoria Secret model hidden in a dark closet

LMTmonoman, First off welcome to this forum. As far as the tiger striped stock goes I don't currently have any good pictures that show how pretty it is, that particular stock came from the CMPicon on my 6 digit inland. The stock is a SA pot belly, it has an Italianicon FAT stamp on the left side and the carbine's serial # is stamped between the oiler slot and butt on the right side.

I understand, and thanks very much for the information. Interesting to note, a recent 6 digit Inland I just got has a mint walnut SA stock without any other marking except "91" in the front of the magwell on the underside of the stock. Also interesting is that I've recently seen a couple SA tiger striped stocks, just not nearly as pronounced as what yours appears to be. I had no clue just how nice the potbelly M2 SA stocks were to recently.

    Welcome to the forum.

Not just on stocks, you might try using the search feature in the tool bar for past threads on items of interest. And the guys here are very helpful as well.

    Enjoy, Jim
Thanks for the Welcome Jim, super glad to be a part of this forum now. Also noted in regards to using the search function. I kept coming to forum over the last 6 months while researching carbine information, and it yielded excellent results. Also great to read Bill Ricca's post on this forum.

Read his email again...... I've crossed up his dates, he volunteered @ South store mid 90's to early 2000's.
Was doing his firefighter thing in the 70's - 80's.

    Thx TWH,
