    Charlie,

My understanding is that is correct, South Korea.

Regular pricing was $99. I bought 300 in a lot from RSR back in the day for $84 each. My garage was nothing but a pile of parts. I cleaned and matched them as well as I could, oiled the stocks, checked and corrected headspace, test fired each. Then sold them for $250 each. Keeping a lot of very nice harder to find parts for myself. Took less than 2 years to sell them. Called RSR again and they were all sold out.
Not all the barrels were hard stamped. Only had a couple with a noticeable bulge on the inside. Barrels were low cost, and I only needed a few.

    Below is a 1988 article.

Jim, I'm curious what the rough distribution of manufacturers was in the 300 you bought. I'm sure you wouldn't have got an IP, but any Rock-ola's, Std Pro's, etc.?
That project would have been right up my alley.

    Thx Jim,
I'll follow up when I get a little more time, haven't read the news report yet... can only imagine with it coming from the W Post.... specially someone getting Probed !! and Firm Probed at that.

So Jim, did you ever sell any through the old guy who had the carbine area in Vallejo? He and his wife always had nice carbines and he even sold an inert ship mine to a friend. He was a really great guy. He was replaced in that area of the show by a knife guy who fancied himself as a D boy.

It was 1988 so I may be off. But there was one Irwin Pedersen, fourteen Rock-Ola's, don't recall the S'G's but at least two. Most were Inland, Underwood, and Winchester.

Dave, if you are talking about Bud we might have met. He and I did shows together for years. Vallejo, Sac, SF, San Jose, and the Great Western in Pomona building #7. Mary passed some years back, Bud passed August 30, 2016 at 95 years of age. WW2 fighter pilot and instructor. Lot's of stories.
