From the numbers they are Canadian lightweight rifles.
However, a couple of years ago we had another chap on a Canadian web group with the same thing and the whole issue just faded away.

Well it won't fade away in this case, and no that was not me, or related to these rifles. No one in my family has had any idea of what was sitting in the basement. I have sent photos of the rifles to seaforth72 for uploading.
