Are you referring to the roller follower? They have tapered rollers sitting at an angle to the feed, then the follower is at an angle to the spring guide...good luck capturing all that. I have never had any trouble with Thompson mags as they are, matter of fact no problems with grease gun mags either.

Well, I see your angle (lol) but if one has the determination, one can accomplish great things. :-)
