User,
Sadly nothing on that rifle but I do have those either side of it on the historic files, so one has to assume the date it was likely to have been constructed was 12th May 1988.
Did you get my Private Messages??

OK no worries ask your question here it will be easier.
In answer to your other question, the M85's It would normally have been fitted with a PECAR 4-10X scope, but every customer was different and some had Swarovski 6 x 42 fitted.

As I mentioned in the PM my Parker Hale M-85 has a jungle stock and I bought it from Germany
with a Zeiss DIATAL-C 10x36.
A friend of mine has a Parker Hale M-82, do you have information for serial# R33434.
Thank you!

Thank you very much.
1996?!?!?!
I am wondering about the year of production, when did they shut the Parker Hale production down?

Parker-Hale was eventually sold to the Midlands engineering group, Modular Industries Ltd. In 1992 it was purchased by Navy Arms and spun off as Gibbs Rifle Company, Inc and finally 2000 when Sabre bought it roughly speaking.

your rifle R33434 was a Canadian contract C3 which was traded back to PH (towards a C3A1) in approx. 1990, refurbished and sold commercially.
Your rifle would have originally shipped to Canada in approx. 1973-75
