    Rifle re-blued after WWI. Bubba did the bolt? Hard to tell now. Does the bolt match? Looks like a nice find and a keeper.

    Looks like its turned brown..once you take it out of the wood, you can see the 'white' metal underneath.

    Looks like 64.R.T.1.83.

    64th Regiment, Train, 1st Company, Weapon No. 83.

    Infantry Regiment General-Feldmarschall Prinz Friedrich Karl von Preußen (8th. Brandenburg)
    Bayonet is 64 R.E.
