Mk.1 Sight Postwar or Wartime?

Appreciate any help IDing this Mk.1 Fazakerley sight as wartime or postwar. Thanks.

Update: sorry, checked advanced settings and uploaded pics. One is of an early Poole on a trials No.4 sold at auction, allegedly all original. The next is this one on my ROFM early 1942. The rifle has been back to depot as it as a lined through and numbered magazine to match. No import markings. I think it may have an "England" early import marking. My query is to determine whether this Mk.1 Poole sight was wartime or postwar. Thank you.

I posted one. It must be the Amazon hosting service does not allow hot linking so I've taken the image code off so now it is just a link. It was up awhile and I got no resonse. I'll try to repost it. In the meantime I was able to determine on my own that it is a Poole Mk.I and that the "F3" is not for Fazakerley but obviously a production lot.

I researched it. Apparently Amazon has a time control on hotlinking. It shows up for a while then is gone. It is at Gunboards on their pic hosting:

On a wider point, I always thought the MK1 backsight was discontinued early on and replaced with the wartime austerity patterns?

I've always considered the MK1 mainly as a post war retrofit, FTR or unit replacement.

That was what I thought also. The simple and cheap ones superseded. Then after if any came to light they might be fitted. Don't think they started making them new though.

Thank you, the pic icon did not allow me to upload. Our site has that feature so I had forgotten I can upload. I went into advanced tabs and found out how. In any event, I did not assume inasmuch as I pay Amazon Prime that they would bohonk me on the pic linking. Appreciate insight on the sight

That said Jim, post war FTR programs retrofitted and removed a number of austerity wartime parts, slab sided cocking pieces, back sights, front sight protectors etc.

I would imagine the MK1 was put back into production for the post war build Mk1's, FTR rework and not forgetting MK2 production from 1949.

So, it is unknown whether the Poole "F3" sight depicted was made in the period to 1945, or postwar? I know that the Mk.I sights with the (is it "C" followed by a number) are postwar, perhaps 1953. Other than that, is such a dating not possible or generally known? Thanks!
