I don't want to pee on the OP's cornflakes, & I wish him every success & lots of fun with his new rifle & scope rig, but I can't help wondering if it isn't throwing good money after bad fitting a "dog's willy" scope to a type of rifle that was hardly renowned for its pin-point accuracy in the first place. Just a thought; I hope he's got a good one & that it's a tack driver, & I'm sure he'll enjoy it regardless.
