The Model 1896 Kragicon restoration was the marriage of a barreled-action with wood from a 'cut-down' rifle. The nice 'cut-down' stock was stretched with a reproduction forearm spliced under the barrel-band.

The Model 1899 Remington-Lee was one of the 2,001 Michigan National Guard rifles. It had been turned into a Lamp for the State's Quarter-Master General. It was missing its bolt and magazine.
A messed up commercial Remington sporting rifle, (just above the Michigan serial number range), was the 'donor' of the bolt and two magazines.

I think my two 'rescue rifles' turned out rather well.
