I'm not an expert, but sounds pretty high to me, at least for here in the US. I sold a very nice M39 about 1 year ago for $550, and it was one of the harder to find late date "no name" or "ghost" models. Here is a listing I saw earlier this year that sold for $485 including shipping: 1944 Finn M39

They are very nice shooting rifles by the way. Sort of wish I still had mine, but my eyes and iron sights don't get along anymore. Good luck finding one.

    Thanks for your reply!
Wow.. much nicer condition & price, I wouldn’t hesitate for a second on that buy.
I have a taste for the Finn rifles now because I picked up an M91 earlier this year.
I’m just not sure if the higher pricing is just because of the Canadaicon factor.. couple months of searching now and this is the first M39 I’ve seen pop up anywhere north of the border.
For some perspective on our milsurp prices - I bought a Swissicon K31 up here for (what seems to be the going rate) - $680 usd.

I’m not opposed to shopping south of the border, but honestly have no clue about the logistics of actually getting up here after the sale.
