I would suggest the sales area here though, always demand for good quality Enfield woodwork.
By the way, there is a small M136 marking in front of the mag well on the new forend, is that a Wartime factory code?

Unless you fit a butt-pad the "L" is about the best you'll get.
I have found that my shooting style has adapted to be able to work reasonably well with "L" Butts.

Yes - it is the wartime code for one of the Woodworking companies in the Midlands (but I don't know who 136 was)
Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...
