    The shallow "v" on top supports the open prong flash hider for removal or installation, cut out on left side is for the birdcage flash hider and square hole in center is for
    torque wrench and I forgot what the cut-out on the right is for ?

    The two cutouts on the sides of the wrench are for the flash hider and the back of the lower receiver extension. Not that you should just torque away at that...

    Aha! Took me a little while to figure that out, but then it hit me that the shallow “v” and the two decorative holes together formed a “Y” shape, which fit perfectly over the 3prongs. Thanks.
