Curious, A late 42 Springfield M1Garand that has all of the right Drawing Numbers, barrel of Sept/Oct 43 era that is clean, bright, with sharp rifling, having a 1-2 muzzle measurement, nice metal, no rust--really nice looking. Only drawback is the stock has been lightly sanded and refinished. Looks real WW2 40ish as far as color and appearance of wood. Wondering of the value and how much would the refinished stock take from current value and any future resale. Really nice looking Garand. Any info much appreciated.
