Beaumont/vitali 1877 P.stevens Maastrisht rifle D804 but stock looks different?
i recently aquired a Beaumpnt/vitali 1877 P.Stevens Maastrisht rifle D804 marked 1890 also has the clip installed. seems pretty original was someones great grandad's ww1 trophy or something like that... but the stock seems short all other pics i see the stock is longer with cleaning rod?... any help would be apreciated...[ATTACH][ATTACH][ATTACH][ATTACH][ATTACH]Attachment 103565[/ATTACH][/ATTACH][/ATTACH][/ATTACH][/ATTACH]

Of course, as a one-time military rifle with a full-length stock, it is clear that the stock has been cut down. Look up a few photos in the internet to gauge the proportions, and you can judge that the remaining barrel ring has also been set back. A replacement stock may be reckoned to be a piece of unobtanium, so you are in for some serious woodwork if you want to restore it to its military appearance.

was more interested in what it is worth... ? the stock was modified but looked as old as the gun. the barrel seems full size, action and barrel look good.

I see these sell with full length stock in the neighborhood of $350.
Frankly, those that bring $350 are in better shape than your example.
The value of yours would be the sum of its parts. Maybe $200 or $250.
