    Lee-Enfield for Parade

Here, in Italyicon there are some SMLE "For Parade"; they have cromed magazine, nosecap and band.

Have they been so modified in G.B., in Canadaicon or here?

    Thanks. Giancarlo

In the Britishicon Army, I've seen the odd chromed bayonet. Usually SLR or No5 bayonets. But never seen rifle parts treated that way.

Not in this Kingdom anyway, the only time that it ever got traction here briefly, was when the RAF Regiment had a new boss who wanted all Royal events rifle carriers to have shiny bayonets!

    Didn't last long thank God

These, in Italyicon, were rifles belonging to the Navy. The Navy has always been a rather "particular branch".
