Yeah, I remember a time at Ft. Richardson when my buddy and I (both Hog gunners) zeroed in on the same fallen tree and started a range fire. The other two platoons were sent out to fight the fire while my platoon (the ones who started the fire) secured all weapons and returned to the cantonment area. We even ate hot chow while the other two platoons ate C-rats and stayed out until 4 am. They weren't too happy with us when they got back but they got the day off to rest while we cleaned their weapons. Fair trade in my book.Information
