Found a holster in a trash pile.

I have two of that style, one is left hand and one right. They are black in color and fit a K frame revolver, my model 10 four inch heavy barrel specifically...they cover the revolver completely. I got both from an ex Oregon Policeman that had them in his accumulation.

By the way, mine are the 54M and 54M LH, I wonder if that means 4" compared to the 56M being for 6"...M being medium frame?

I would imagine that it would be the case that 4 or 6 equals Barrel size. The holster I have looks like it can accommodate a barrel about that size.

Once I looked at mine and then yours I wondered... I can't find much actual info on these either.

I found this in the back room of an old gunshop years ago. It is for the Colt 1911 and there is a single magazine pouch too. This is called,Attachment 103945 I believe a "pancake" holster and dates to the WW1 time period ? What is interesting is that it can be used as a hip or shoulder holster. Never able to locate any information as it is without markings but well made.

I was trying to get a date or era it was manufactured. The company started in 1952 but other than that nothing much is out there on these.
