I agree, the price is outrageous, you are wise to just walk away, the seller has an extremely unrealistic concept of that rifles value.Like someone says, wtch CGN and you'll find much better for the same dollars or less.The most I've paid for a M39 (all of which are excellent condition) was $1200Cdn for a SKY M39 with oiler sling,etc.

I recently sold a nice Sako M39 to a friend for 500.00. It was an antique receiver to boot. It was sold to be a gift for his son who does some Finnish reenactment. We both knew it to be a deal due to the selling prices in the auctions...His son also appreciated it as he practically cried when receiving it and that young man is a Marine...
