    It shouldn't be that difficult to repair your existing band and if you can't do it your self you could ask someone with some metalworking skills.

    There are several ways that you could tackle it but the simplest way may be to weld up the stripped tapped hole using tig weld, re-dril and re-tap the correct thread.
