    Mint means original finish...The rifle has never been through FTR.

    Yes, the middle band where one attaches the sling. The Numrich ones are not marked like this original LB lower band.

    Fill the stripped thread with silver solder and tap new threads. Could probably do it with propane, MAPP gas for sure. Best wishes.

    I can maybe help you out but you have to be more specific.........if you want the proper band as it would have left the factory with then it should have a LB stamp.....if you want that exact stamp as in your photo that is not a Long Branch manufactured part and therefore not correct to your "mint" rifle but that's up to you.
