Easier said than done, if that's duracoat it may need glass bead blasting to remove. I have a little Beretta 70 that was done and couldn't get it to lift after soaking in acetone...

Anyone tried paint stripper? The mean kind that burns your skin if you get it on you...not the environmentally friendly citrus stuff, of course.
