Ok, I was finally able to remove all the old girls' furniture.

First, the two upper handguards are hand numbered to the rifle in pencil or something. They are both stamp marked S.L.

Second, The barrel is numbered to the rifle. It is marked 43and yes gents, she has a "T" stamped on her dirty little bottom...sans serifs!

It seems that a "T" on the barrel bottom may be a good sign... if all else is right.
