The Winchester Carbine date of stamping stuff was published in one of the Carbine books, maybe it was Harrison's--or Canfields. But that's where some are quoting from. The page was posted on CMP years back.

The Winchester Carbine date of stamping stuff was published in one of the Carbine books, maybe it was Harrison's--or Canfields.

Not sure about Harrison or Canfield's books, but the receiver serial # stamping info is published in WB III and CCNL 337.
