That's nothing Pennsylvania is almost completely shut down. The entire state, not military bases, not a few counties.
Not sure how long it will last, not sure if the Governor has the authority to do what he did, not sure if what he did makes any real sense. I have zero confidence in his health department head who he is taking advice from. For all I know, this could also be the best possible thing to do. All I know is I may not be working for a while although it looks like some of my work might be considered essential as I'm a remodeling contractor. Repairs look like they may be authorized. Don't have any repairs on the calendar at the moment however. So, it's trying to make sense of where certain things are and getting them ready. Good time to do repairs around the house also. A lot needs done here and the carpenters house is the last to get work done.
The Legislature is going to examine whether he has the power to do this tomorrow. They may also lift the restrictions on a lot of it. Construction, mining, logging are all shut down. No explanation as to why. At least the small companies, fairly isolated work crews, especially logging.

Katrina x 50? Lets hope not. Those firearms were never returned or compensation paid.
My prayers are with those here affected directly or indirectly by this mess.

I'm just staying home today. As my work will be curtailed, I see no reason to rush out and do anything about it. I believe I will be able to continue operations in a reduced capacity so long as my clients are OK with it. Repairs must go on, my suppliers remain open, my orders are continuing to be shipped. Construction is stopped, remodeling probably is as well but when you're in the middle of job I think finishing it is repairs.
Defcon level is going up significantly. This weekend will be seeking, locating and organizing. Started the process a bit last night. The area here remains calm. Still a lot of traffic on the road. Grocery store parking lots are once again full after being normal for two days. Not sure why last nights declaration changed that, the hoarders should already have enough TP to last the year.

Saw something the other day concerning truckers complaining about interstate rest stops being shut down. How in h#ll does one expect stores to be restocked if the truckers can't get through? Sometimes it helps to actually think a problem through instead of overreacting....

Yes, the idiots in Pennsylvania did this. Recinded it pretty fast as I suspect someone told them what they actually did. All rest stops are once again open and staffed.

Going out tomorrow for 4 24's of beer and a 40oz of rye. Might stop by the produce store and get some oranges, limes and lemons, no need to get Scurvy as we hunker down.
The wife stocked up on veggies and the pantry is full along with the freezer's.

Our range was closed yesterday until the foreseeable future, I suspect many more will follow where people come together.

The State closed the ranges they own today. My range is still open as of yesterday when they sent out an email. They promoted the usual precautions. No cancellation of their scheduled events however which runs against the Governor's orders.
Big difference between Bubba going out for an hour to shoot some targets and a whole slew of people competing at skeet.

Try not overreact guys.
It’s just the beginning...unfortunately.
From what we can see here in Italy
, the important thing is to keep the food production and the logistics up.
If that can be granted, you’ll be mostly ok.
Try to keep comments and opinions on socials as low as possible.
Do NOT overreact.
Everything will be fine!
