We are putting together a group of families that will take care of another one where everybody has been laid off. They live here, just a couple hundred meters from us, and that is really a very disturbing feeling. Here, in a very wealthy area of the country, people who do not have the means for putting something on the table...
Very bad feeling.
Some very interesting initiatives have been popping up from everywhere.
Here we have the "hanging basket", in a peripheral part of Milan, where there are quite some low-income families. Who can, puts something in the basket...who needs, picks up something. I love it. It is a clear sign of mutual help and respect. Anonymous and respectful.
