Well guys, I've been off line completely since 16th March. I see this thread has moved on some 50 pages since then! I haven't had time to catch up with all your news.
We went into lockdown on the 17th of March in Franceicon. I've spent a very enjoyable 8 weeks at our country cottage; no TV, no Internet and no stress! We are all still in good health. One or two trips to the supermarket each week was the only reason to leave the house. No real issues with food supply; which was a concern of mine before the shutdown. But the supply chains have done a great job. minor panic buying in the beginning ceased quickly

We spent the time working on many of the renovation of the house, that's nearly finished. The weather has been fantastic for the most part. Felt like being on early retirement, with the bonus of having all day with my 9 year old daughter.

So the bad news is we are now back in Paris to start work tomorrow. France is lifting the confinement to help restart the economy; but I fully expect the virus to increase again as it's still very present here.

Not having access to TV or Internet meant that we are a little out of touch with whats gone on the last 8 weeks. Our local radio news is really only headlines. I hope our forum friends are keeping safe.
