    IMR,
Who makes the KY one ?
If this is the one your talking about there is no mention of it being USGI that I seen:
    M1 Carbine Magazine 10 Round SplitbackÂ*marked KY | eBay

I don't use 30's very often but that said... I've had good luck with the J (Jahn) made ones. Did you see the lot of 3 ?
I'd have to dig mine out to see if these offerings match up, I believe they are real...... I think
    (3) M1 Carbine magazines, 10 rds each coded for Jahn industriesÂ* | eBay

It looks like the trick is to put 2 rough mags in a old worn out belt pouch and get 3x what they're worth separate.
A few I looked at from that group of 9 have rust pin holes in them.
Sure glad I was buying back when $16-$18 for a 15rd like new seemed high to many buyers.
I know I bought well over a 100 about 10 to 12 at a time from one of the sellers at our local gun show for $12 per mag no matter the markings. He retired and his nephew took over who had seen me buy many times from his Uncle. He raised the price to $20 each. I remember offering to buy at $18 and he wouldn't budge. I walked around the corner just as another seller was filling a tray with mags from a large tote. All like new, many still in wrap. At $10 each I bought 30 and he threw in a couple extras. Good guy, bought a W code Underwood from him at the next show. He's still around and I always try to buy something from him. He still gets a kick out of selling me mags for $10 each that he was given many years ago.

Good Luck to you as you wade thru those auctions,

The KY. He doesn’t say is GI but is selling it at GI price. I only saw the single Jahn an it is phony as a $3.bill.

Those three are real. Not a bad price if they go for anything less than $55 to $60 each. That seems to be market for them now. I got the SEYs for $65 each which was about right for real ones.
