Is charger cover the same reinforced one used on the C1 sniper scopes? It does seem very much like a prototype unit - I can't imagine the cheek weld is very suitable and it doesn't seem like it would stand up very well to even semi auto fire. I've always found it a bit funny that someone with the knowledge to deal with the optics in that sight would just use a tip from a Singlepoint!

I have a couple of the MG Ring Sights (creative company name that one...). Very sturdy, but they must be solid glass because they weigh a ton!
