I had an idiot on facebook challenge my numbers this morning and in my research came up with some new ones.

The United Statesicon mortality rate is 45th in nations with over 1000 cases. Mortality rate is 3.39. This is lower than virtually every nation in Western Europe, Canadaicon and Mexico. And the media is still trying to make us out to be a disaster zone. Some of the major ones: UKicon 15.22, Belgiumicon 14.47, France 14.3, Italyicon 14.21, Hungaryicon 13.29, Netherlands 11.39, Mexico 11.5, Spain 9.96, Canada 7.63, Swedenicon 7.16, Ireland 6.17, Switzerlandicon 5.56, Germanyicon 4.36.

Here, the only nation the media seems to want to imply is worse than the United States is Israel. Their rate is way down the list at .71. You can't tell me politics isn't driving this disaster now.

The following is publicly available -

Coronavirus Update (Live): 18,283,830 Cases and 693,773 Deaths from COVID-19 Virus Pandemic - Worldometer

and puts the USAicon in 10th place (478 deaths per million). Germanyicon, for example, is at 110 per million (41st). Canadaicon at 238 per million (24th.

The Worldometer Covid-19 statistics are collated by Johns Hopkins University. I see no reason to suggest that they are following a political agenda.

BTW. Pennsylvania is at 570 per million.

I don't know where you get your figures from. Please provide a link to the source of the information you quoted.
