If I remember right Alden was from upper state NY. He had someone across the border who had access to almost new M1 carbines . Unissued carbines from the Canadian Army that they never used or even issued. The only thing he could not get were receivers. He was fair with his prices it seemed to me. But almost all Inland parts.

Will buyers ever get smarter? That's like saying will voters ever get smarter. Too many are far to stupid to be allowed to vote but this is America and stupid voters are allowed as are stupid buyers allowed to buy. So the answer is. NO they won't and far to many con men waiting for them.
