    These guns were probably captured by a Canadian unit in WW1 and marked after the battle by them. Many came back to Canadaicon in the units and went to their armories, many more were dropped off at any rail siding for the towns that had a monument for the war. Some were in private possession. The unit markings can usually be deciphered if you can get a reasonable pic...

    You actually have a man living in Irma AB down the road that can help perhaps...in deciphering these. Also bit of the history. I can PM you a name perhaps...
