Surplus US Army .22 Long Rifle
I picked you two 500 round boxes of Remington US Military Surplus .22 Long Rifle ammunition. I probably paid more then I should have for the ammunition but I a sucker for this kind of stuff. I thought it would go nicely with my US Property Remington 513T rifles. Also, figure I could sell 50 Round Boxes of the stuff with the six 513T I'll be selling off in the near future.

I had some 22 Hornet FMJ survival rifle cartridges in the 70's. As a DAK (dumb *** kid) I shot them up. Oh well back then they weren't special or rare. As I recall they were plenty accurate, but not as effective as the Hornady SX 40 grain reloads on Jack Rabbits. A poor shot on one of the big bunnies romping around the high dessert near Palmdale might let them get away to die slowly. The SX pretty much cut them in half.

I think about all the stuff I had back then and can't believe what that stuff goes for today.
