USA, I had a Tech sight on a "Liberty Training Rifle for Appleseed" based on a M795 Marlin. The receiver is pretty soft on these and I had a dickens of a time getting the rear sight to stay on. That and the massive amount of left windage (twisted barrel???) made me scrap it for a scope. Loved the sight and sight picture. On a SKS, the sight radius is pretty short but at least with the M59/66 you can put up the night sights on the back and get a better notch, the front is too big. I have my SKS about as good as it can be for what it is, but it would have been fun to toss practice grenades. The Swiss
Stgw 57 has a rubber rear stock that was designed as a recoil absorber for launching their giant "carrot" rifle grenades and not spit the stock. I did do a pretty heavy cleaning of the chamber with JB paste and a cleaning patch wrapped on a brush driven by a drill (put a drinking straw around the rod at the back of the receiver as the trunions are sharp as razors) to get the gunk that had built up over the years out. Seems OK now, just need another extended day shooting it to check. My bolt carrier cover looks like a thousand mice on ice skates had a winter party. I wish I owned a sand blaster... Enjoy
