USAbaker-I've seen you there on fridays (I remember the seabee patches); we've talked a few times as well. Next time I go on a friday, I'll look for you.

RoyW-I pulled this load for 150's right from the Hornady #10 manual. But what I have found is that rarely do my handloads shoot accurately from rifle to rifle. I have a trials 4T with a pitted and dark barrel that shoots outstanding with sierra 174 hollow-point boats tails. It wont shoot 150's nor will it shoot .312 diameter bullets. That same boat tail in another, almost mint 4T wont print under 2-1/2 inches, but that rifle loves flat-base bullets. It's been a lot of experimentation over the years. Throw in the "panic buying" due to politics/covid/mass shooting (insert any civil unrest here), and I wind up having to substitute powders when Varget, IMR4895, or my other go-to powders become unavailable. This is how I stumble onto good (or bad) load combos.

I think you have all the Enfields that I always envy, you normally take positions 1 or 2.

    200 yard redemption

Part 2: Returned to the range this past Thursday, and put down a respectable 3.75 X 4 inch group with the T. When I settle down, I can shoot decently.

Was feeling pretty good at the 300 yard line until I noticed the group was about 3 feet in diameter! It was then I realized there were too many holes in the target. The guy next to me was shooting a M44 Mosin-Nagant with iron sights. Yup, he shot my target...

Will try 300 next week. For now, the 200 yard results:

With every other shooting position closed, I don't get how people are still shooting at the wrong targets; Especially with iron sites.
