    I got one of them hammer types I use , had for many years . Use it when I seat a bullet to far in the case or loaded some test rounds and saw real quick wasn't working . If I had more chances on getting old rounds that was just bought for the bullets then shooting might invest in a real bullet puller . Each their own .

    I started out with the hammer type, used it for a long time and works great on one or two rounds; and even better for de-construction of handloads Quick and Simple! But when you have hundreds of military surplus ammo that old. crimped, and some with sealer.. hammering ain't getin' it LOL - just screwing and unscrewing the cap and fiddling with the o-ring captured collet 100 ~ 200 times make a person crazy.
