Thanks Gents,
Got the opportunity to shoot a few preliminary boxes thru it today. A box of Remington 175 FMJ and a box of PPU of the same weight. Only at 50yds as time was limited. More of a functional check more than anything. The groups for the Remington (which I shot first) were pretty poor. About 3-4”. The PPU was another story however. Nice little clusters well centered but a bit low using the 200yd setting on the sight. Hopefully more time later in the week to shoot it off the bench. Ended the afternoon dinging some 8” steel a dozen times at 100yds. Still a bit low and right. Older eyes and the stock drop didn’t help. I forgot to bring my foam riser pads and vet tape along today. I might have to improvise.
Limited exposure but pleased so far. Anxious to get it stable on the bench and get a decent cheek weld.
