You are right about that Jim, I wanted to be nowhere near them. Most of the cans I would grab were M80/M62 since I was an M60 gunner. My kids tell me they can't take can or brass anymore, not even spent smoke or 203 cartridges. The gun club I work for has a contract with the military and sells Ammo cans 3 for $20.00 or $8.00 each it is interesting to see the changes in the can from when I was in and now. I wish I would have grabbed my Dad's after he died. His were Korea and Vietnam issue. It I didn' despise my step-mother so much I'd go see what is left in the garage. When I went to collet his firearms I was told the "disappeared" I was a bit upset because most were I bit upset down from my grandfater.
