Parker Hale M82 Serial number check.

Is it possible to get the correct stock? I got the one for my M82 a few years ago. Also, I know the ZF69 on the M82 is in the spirit of what should be on the rifle, but is not in the correct serial number range and not a military issue.

Steve, OWS (Old Western Scrounger) store in the US had lots of M82 stocks a few years ago but none listed on their site currently. They do have what are described as "M81 Cadet Target" stocks showing, which are the stocks for the L81A1 single shot cadet rifle. IIRC they are the same as the M82 stocks apart from not having the magazine and floor plate cutout, which is a simple modification, and they do have the stock extension pieces on them too.
