If the "experts" could only agree, and if they and the relevant authorities would use every reasonable method to reduce transmission.

For example it's been proven that raising humidity in a confined spaces causes airborne virus particles to bond to the tiny water droplets and drop out of the air. The efficacy of this is striking, but is it being done? Are centrally heated/cooled buildings resetting their air conditioning systems to increase humidity to over 45% when this process kicks in? Not that I've heard of.

Are UV light systems being retro-fitted where not already present to sterilize building airflows?

There's mumbling about "is it being spread through air conditioning systems?"; well, we've known for decades about "sick building syndrome" so should anyone be surprised!?

You'd think that if they were so interested in reducing transmission, public health authorities would be all over this.

When I last looked months ago, there were over 1500 recognized strains; how many are there now?

When Dr. Fauci publicly states he is taking Vit. C and D himself, why isn't it being recommended for everyone?

Anyway...the info is only keystrokes away, for those that want to look.

I know people who have suffered great loss because of this disease. I think there is a difference between "flouting" and questioning. I indeed wear a mask when in public and around others as a respectful person. I also have every reason to question. We were instructed that masks were stupid in the beginning, then the same officials say they are the cure for the pandemic. So, we were either lied to in the beginning, or we are being lied to about it now - I admit I don't know which (yet). I say lied because we certainly knew and understood the mode of transmission all along from the beginning.
My beef isn't really with the rules - it's with the lack of law and equal application thereof. Something as severe as confiscation of liberty needs to happen by passing a law, not by a years worth of edicts unequally directed, applied, and enforced. It needs the will of the people.

Curious. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019...iew/index.html combines hospitalization and death into "PIC" pneumonia, influenza, covid. The "influenza like illness" is flatlined. Shouldn't it be going up with the annual flue season? Is it possible that we aren't confident enough in the underlying data to differentiate? PIC deaths and hospitalizations did spike, but have been going down over the last 3 weeks. What is the real situation for just COVID? Why are some states withholding certain data and releasing others?
...for all the Thanksgiving and Christmas police...correlation is not the same as causation.
