    I can confirm that it was in fact the Barbican Armoury that built this particular rifle. There were two rifles made up with .22 Enfield No4 barrels back in the 90's, they were assembled from the surplus Enforcer actions that had been sold off to the trade when the contract came to an end, effectively they had been sold for "Scrap" as they were no longer needed and nobody wanted them. It sounds rather like the No4T's that could be bought for £30 complete because nobody wanted them, don't you wish we could travel through time.???
