Thread: Bought a Savage No4 T ... help???

    If I were the OP I would seriously consider the offer of a piece of scrap No4 receiver containing the rear sight axis pin 'ears'. If you accurately position them (that will require some care) you will successfully remedy what is to me the biggest problem that Bubba gave it! Everything else, relatively speaking, is cosmetic. If the OP wants a set of top quality body pads that are very close to the originals, then I would suggest those made by Fultons of Bisley. They will be a lot more expensive than the Pacific Rim variants, but the Fulton examples are accurately machined & also look like the originals.

    I will check Fultons of Bisley. I shot at the Bisley Ranges in 2000 and 2001 and actually have a TA 50 (Territorial Army Top 50 Award).
