It's headed off to chuck now. When it comes back it will be rid of the ugly brown/straw colored bluing someone before me did...and Steve Earle's repro unertl bases.
I'm tempted to remove my raw linseed oilonly finish and stain it. The other side is very light, dense grain walnut. It's a new Minelli that I had to sand all it's stained finish off because the stock was very fat. I'm probably rushing it though. Finish is only a month old. If I don't get too antsy about it, maybe I can let it go for at least a year and see how the color develops.
