Once you learn how to set the the proper tension jam collar, you can skid the adjustment lead screw and it is a no brainer to set the scope up.
Then, just snug up the jam nut and hope the lead screw does not move.
It may take a time or two to get it down pat.
Works on all the model scopes and you can also get the Mk.III closer to the centre of the scales ....
It sounds so easy (when you say it quickly and have done dozens of them)
Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...
