    If the D Tip thing is true, not sure if it would be the first time the Marines got a new item, I believe the combo 1911/carbine mag pouches were Marine specific. Not sure Marines were always the last ones to get new equipment, I deployed with SEABEES in 2000, they were still using mess kits!

    Page 140 of Riesch's 8th, fig. 5-2 has a picture of a sling marked F-S CO, isn't that Fake Sling Company?
