G.M.I. marked Enfield stripper clips

The stripper clips marked GM I, GM II, GM III, GM IV, GM V are made by the Italian company "Ditta Gigollo & Martinelli" The have been all over eBay for a number of years now.

What can you tell me about them? Were they made for the British? Are they problematic, do they have issues?

Post WW2 the Italian forces were re-armed with .303 inch weapons and manufactured ammunition and chargers for these. Although long replaced in army service, the Italian Navy only sold their reserve stocks of Lee Enfields in 2008.

Claven2 - British and Commonwealth chargers were never marked with the type of ammunition, not least because ammunition in chargers was primarily meant for riflemen and they did not use much special purpose rounds such as tracer. There were four marks of charger approved for British service and dates etc. are:

Mark I, List of Changes Paragraph 11753 16 Jan 1903
Mark II, List of Changes Paragraph 13465 24 April 1906
Mark III, List of Changes Paragraph 18973 15 Feb 1916
Mark IV, List of Changes Paragraph 19786 30 Oct 1917

There was a Mark V planned at the end of WWI that was a modified version of the Russian Mosin charger, at that time being made in large numbers in the UK, but this did not happen due to the end of the war.
