I prefer the milled parts as well, & I greatly prefer the sights of an 03 over the 03a3.

ditto here. On poorly fitted or new "drop in ready" (note the quotes, they never are but many expect them to be) stocks rounds can frequently "stick" (usually second to last or last round) when the gap between top of mag and receiver is not perfect. It's a lot easier at the range to pop the floor plate off the milled magazine than to remove the action screws on the stamped one.

    True statement.

Got the reamer on order. Decided to try one of the Serbian made ones. Got a gunsmith buddy who swear by them, so we shall see. After a 4 week wait that is, which still better than the 9 weeks it took to get a circuit board for my welder from Swedenicon. Then there was the 4.5 months to get some parts out of Moscow. Got some Galil gas blocks out of Israel once. Shipped here from Haifa, via Hong Kong almost a year later.

Now I'm second guessing having bought in Serbia. .......

I'll spend my wait time working on other projects.
