    I've repaired a couple of L1A1 scopes in the last year or so and they have been what the guys in the UKicon would call BOG STANDARD...
    They were horrible, with broken screws, beavered screws, lenses loose etc.
    I was really shocked to see the poor state of repair of the scopes!!!!!
    It looks like they just cleaned out the garbage, and all the ones in North American came through one supplier/importer.

    The scope pictured appears to be a repo scope in a repro mount........

    Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...
