Anyone actually try the wire cutters on bayonets? Curious if they actually work or damage the blade.

Anyone actually try the wire cutters on bayonets?

Yes they work to a point. The ones we had on our test pattern C7 bayonets in the '70s on trial were made so the blade could be set either way on the lug of the scabbard. If placed backwards they would break the end off the blade. If placed correctly they worked fine. They were not accepted so moot point. The AK blades work fine, razor wire can be a problem but guys trying them didn't care as we procured hundreds of "Baksheesh" bayonets in Yugo. I haven't even seen a Stoner bayonet for a couple decades or more so can't say about them.
