US Military Axe?

US 52? The smaller axes are more common to find. I've seen them marked 1918. These are around too and marked by the makers of the other famous steel tools like the Bolo and Manchettes we collect. If you search "US military full size axe" you'll come across them.

I see a 92. You can Google US 92 axe and it pulls up a bunch

Thank you, I wonder what the "92" means, I'm pretty sure it's not the year because I remember him using this in the 80's, I think it's the same Axe anyhow...
